Throughout the season of Advent, we are reminded of what it means to prepare and what it means to receive the Lord. This penance service, designed for use in the community that is preparing for the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation, focuses on prayer, Scripture and meditation on the voices of the biblical witnesses leading up to the coming of Christ: Isaiah, John the Baptist, Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary and Jesus himself.
Each order includes a copy of the rubrics for presider.
